mmmmmmmmmcChicken (jueves, 23 de noviembre de 2006),

I crave mcChicken meals so badly now. The smooth, pleasantly sour tang of the maiyonnaise. The chicken patty. The strange buns, even the soggy lettuce leaves :S The delightfully salty fries! Hot and soft in the middle and crunchy at the edges. Exuding oil-juice when you crush them between your teeth. The large paper cup of coke. Cold, icy, drenching your tastebuds in a mass of diluted tasty brown gunk. And don't forget the background noises of talking in ENGLISH and muchloved SINGLISH. Mmmmmmm. I seriously can't wait for december.

Time passes so fast! I remember saying "I can't wait for next year's church camp!" last december, and it's already six months after that!!! Haha but for some strange reason, I don't feel old. Maybe cos I'm doing my IGCSEs this school year anyway, so the importance of becoming sec4 is lost. Or maybe cos I identify myself more with those peeps born in 1990 and have therefore technically gone through sec4 o_O HAHA.

I AM REALLY GLAD I MOVED TO VIETNAM. I used to think it would be horrible, that 'nam was like some sort of evergreen forest, filled with deciduous trees (sec2 geog don't fail me now). That the natives got their appendages blown up with errant landmines pretty darn often and people went around going " Comrade!"
Boy was I wrong :) PLUS I think I've grown alot more here in a shorter space of time than if I were in singapore (both literally and figuratively - I grew a couple of centimetres between october and november!!!!!111). And also I actually STUDY here (unlike in tanglin) and I don't sleep and I try not to disappoint my teachers and I am forced to exercise in sports science and most ego-feeding of all, the kids here think I'm smart :DDD and they aren't all that dumb okay! .....Though apparently we ain't gonna be doing no logs for igcse maths o_O

OMG THAT GUNDUSAMY OF A MAX THOUGHT I WAS NOT CHINESE, EVEN THOUGH SOMETIMES I EMIT STRANGE TONELESS DISJOINTED CHINESE WORDS I REMEMBER FROM P1 AND LOOK CHINESEY. Haha and my class isn't very international! I mean, pretty much all of them 'cept zia louise and I hadn't the faintest what Islam was.
