I've gotten most of my mock marks back. Lots of almost-As; ABA=B for chem! 70+% for english! B for lit! 74% for math and physics (these were especially heartbreaking)! And bestest of all, an A for bio :))) But gahhh on the other end of the spectrum. A C for sports science and business. I haven't gotten my ict marks back yet.

The second part of my art mock was today. I made a sculpture of people squished and melded together, as The Perfect Journey. I shall try and take a picture so I can show off to y'all.
Around the end of our exam we all started wandering around checking out each other's finished products. Haha and I went around spraying louise and ruth with the pink water squirty thing. And stole seolye's jacket and the wooden model hand and went around doing... Things. Ahaha

Oh it's been decided. I'll be staying in vietnam for my first ib year :) I think I'll be doing english A, chinese/spanish/french ab initio, math higher or standard, bio or chem, ITGS/business and art. Grr I hate my humanities list. I'm not interested in geog, hist, business OR IT! :( Bis might be offering chinese next year, and if they do I suppose I'll hafta join. Though ruth says if we all ask for spanish perhaps they'll get a teacher, and I reckon spanish'll be easier than chinese or french. I'll probably take bio la, it's so much more interesting than chem. And it's all. enzymey. Haha.

Yay hingying took this for me so I could finally put it up on deviantart. If you didn't know, I made this when I was sec2. My art teacher got permission from the principal to let us draw on the walls opposite the art rooms, so I applied. Haha and I put it in as accessable a spot as possible, ie the wall besides the bookshop so that lots of people would see it :) Though eventually that would prove to be its downfall; some n00b went and vandalised abit of the fish's lower body with some silver spray, I HATE THEM ALLLL.
Haha hingying just told me this now-sec3 guy called yuqi or something took a picture of my mural and it's lying in his phone somewhere. I shall visit school and beat him up next time I visit! Mwahahahaha!!!!!

Anyway my oldold comp finally crashed for good! :) My dad's finally considering buying a new one. YAY. That useless hunk o' junk annoyed me to no end. Plus the monitor was cathode ray tube, which is bad and emits radiation! And it kept freezing/crashing and wouldn't let me put up pictures on blogger. See the only reason the picture of my mural is up is cos I'm using my mum's laptop.

Bio/physics were pretty good! Easier than I thought it would be. I betcha the real igcses will be harder. And I think, because they can only set a certain amount of questions and they have to try and cover most of the syllabus, most bio questions don't ask for definitions. So last night I stayed up till four just reading up on bio and memorising physics formulae.

My bio and physics mocks are tomorrow. Yesterday I enlisted the help of chris the uni student and glenn the chem/bio tutor (and future uk med student!) AND meike the model answer maker and went through my paper 3 booklet. I am still reeling from the shock of discovering water doesn't go up root hairs by active transport. :( Grr. Haha and cell membranes are made from phospholipids, apparently. Though if I put this in my answers tomorrow I won't get the mark; it's jc bio.

Oh vanessa lee told me she saw me at the airport the day I left for vietnam haha. And I saw that L337 taiwanese bballer in year 8/9/10 at the airport too.

I'm visiting singapore mid-feb for a week for cny :) 15th to 24th methinks. Though 18th to 20th I'll be in kl. So far, I've given 17th to michelley and karen and 16th to hingying and dancers. And a day shall be given to the wlcc for taboo-playing at the minds cafe! Hahaha. And tentatively a day for guitar girls. Though the odds of us finally meeting after six months are slim and almost nonexistant. :( And I think I'll be staying at some cheapo hotel near dhoby ghaut. So yay no more boonlay! :)

I find it really hard to fall asleep at night without background noise. Don't know why. Haha but when it's completely quiet I start thinking about things and a song I heard during the day will loop in my brain. So to sleep I have to focus on the noisy aircon. o_O I'm so weird sometimes I freak myself out hahaha

WHY doesn't my apparent regional genius show itself in my schoolwork! >:(

I'm supposed to be learning the stuff I haven't done before in prep for mocks, yet I have instead, in the past day, played my guitar (which I haven't touched in ages)and managed to trek my way through my bad memory and play that russian song we had to learn for exams that raymond choo always mispronounced into something unintelligible-incomprehensible-incoherent, done an iq test (results shown above), taken a BATH (which I usally leave to right before I sleep), watched the news on tv (which is the ultimate already la)

An hour or so has passed since I wrote the above. I just watched Around the world in 80 days on star movies haha. So anyway where was I. Oh yes. I googled my name twice, once as chialynn and the other as chia lynn, and combed through all the results in chialynn (and found shona's blog o_O) and am halfway through chia lynn.
I think I need a motivated studybuddy who can go through everything with me, over and over. :(

So! I flew back from singapore on monday. I met my parents in the car and THEY DIDN'T KILL ME FOR LOSING THE PHONE AFTERALL. They were all nonchalant and my mum asked the driver guy to bring us to some bunta cafe place, that rates extremely high on my list of well-designed places in hochiminh that have great service (it's like. number ONE!). :)
for the past few nights and whenever I remembered I'd prayed that they wouldn't be thaaat mad and wouldn't keep rubbing NaCl in my wound, and they didn't! Woohoo I am so totally a living prayer success story. Haha! :)))))

Oh I think I'll be in singapore for a few days in february. Not on a sunday though. We're DRIVING to kl to visit my last remaining living grandparent, in case he dies anytime soon. I haven't seen my ahkong in really long, so. :) And the last time I did was around a year before, and he'd kept twenty dollars as angpao money for me, even though we were a coupla weeks too late for cny. I FEEL SO UNFILIAL. :( I'm gonna try and speak in chinese and hug him when I see him. And perhaps God's just letting him stay on till we visit him and I hug him, and then he'll take him. :(((((

Yay rachie finally broke up with her deadass boyfriend, after much advice from me, danny, hannahxiaobaobao, adrian, timmy, and basically everyone who knew how bad he was. Hahah and now her display name's like. welikechialynn. :) And I changed mine too cos I TOTALLY AGREE.
