boys, boys, boys (lunes, 9 de julio de 2007),

Hello! I'm in suyeon's aunts's house now. WE WENT SHOPPING TODAY. At BuPyeung. I bought lots of shirts and stuff. And at this jeans shop we met a korean american from kansas who helped me find grey skinnies, but LE GASP he had not seen my ass so he gave me jeans one size too small. :( I swear I have a black girl's posterior haha.

And when we were about to go home, I spotted these nice zebra stripey trainers in this shop! And the shopdude beckoned at us to come in. Suyeon said he was saying stuff like, this is the first time I'm touching a foreigner's foot, I'm so nervous! and I want to talk to her but I don't know how to speak English! and she's pretty! in Koean hahaha. And he was cute! All pale and tall and lovely. But she told me all this too late! While we were on the bus to be specific. As it was driving away. :(
So I told suyeon if she ever goes back there to give my email address, haha!

Oh and suyeon met her friends while we were going to bupyeung. One of her friend's friends, this angmoh from south africa, was SO CUTE me tells you. And he smiled at us a couple of times :)

And the day I arrived in korea SUYEON WAS LATE IN PICKING ME UP. I had to puzzle out the phone and I bought a phone card, and was standing at the wrong type of phone in discreet agitation when this cleaner lady said stuff in korean and pointed towards the right phone :)
And THEN I had to figure out how to use the thing. And eventually I managed to call da eun, who told me suyeon's cellphone number.

We met her friends, green shirt girl and yellow shirt girl, later. They were muchos nice, talking to me (in stilted english and plenty of hand gestures) and we watched fun with dick and jane and the beginning of scary movie 4 at their house.

And on sunday we met da eun and went to lotte world! Which is truly a marvel to behold. We went on all sorts of scary coasters and waited in line for up to an hour for each ride.
Like the huge swinging ship. You think the escape themepark one is wicked, you should try this. At one point it was swingigng more than 90 degrees and I was pushing myself against the seat so my body wouldn't be parallel to the GROUND.
And later when da eun had to go, suyeon and I got on the Gyro Drop, this 70m high ride where the platform freefalls all the way to the base o_O Haha but they had some slowing thing towards the bottom that slowed it so our landing wouldn't be jarring.

Tomorrow suyeon's uncle is fetching me to da eun's house, where I shall be staying till I leave seoul.
suyeon's uncle is SO NICE. He bought us these prettiful silver earrings! And her aunt is lovely! She cooks and cleans and EVERYTHING. And she doesn't mind when we're out till real late or object to my sleeping the day away. :) And she cooks cool korean things like japchae and fish innard soup (which tastes better than it sounds hahah) and beef thingies.
