It's 3am in hcm right now. I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO DECEMBER! Can't stand it. Just thinking about all the hanging out I'll be doing with good ol' singaporeans makes my chest constrict.
And all the sleepovers! 'Specially andrea's. It'll be like my first time in TWO WHOLE YEARS seeing as last time was december '05. Andrea's house fills me with peace, don't know why! We're so high up and trafficky noises permeate her walls. It's like being away from the world. And like I'm living in that moment so the night/day never has to end. And also it's very homey and cosy and the location of muchas good memories. I WANT TO LIVE IN A PLACE LIKE THAT WHEN I'M AN ADULT. Some sort of warm, peaceful, sundayafternoon-y apartmenty place close enough so town costs five dollars a cab (or at least it did 2 years ago hehe) yet not quite in town so everything isn't at cutthroat prices.
KAREN'S HOUSE IS LIKE THAT ALSO. Complete with noisy traffic and everything! And it gives out a sleepy vibe haha. Though I guess I'd rather be living in an andrea-esque house rather than a karen-esque one, unless I've a nice car/harley/jag.

People back in singapore were always saying how I'm like a banana; yellow on the outside, white on the inside. But having spent a year in the presence of true angmohs I declare that THEY WERE WRONG! I'm still very much yellowish on the inside, thank you very much. In fact, they'd probably say I was CONSERVATIVE.
And sometimes I feel like I don't really fit in in either angmoh or singaporean society anymore. Like I'm too azn for the white peepz and too white for the chinkz. Even my name is straddling both worlds; Chia = chinese! Lynn = english! Haha and the most ironic thing is, my parents actually gave my siblings and I such chinese names cos they wanted us to be more cheena (look how well that turned out hahahaha).
I think I only ever really feel completely at ease with the yangs. They're like angmohs with less of a wild streak.

I went to yingyue's house today! All the way in district NINE. Haha and I saw ruben and the other szvobodas playing bball. He didn't pay me much attention I BET HE HATES ME. Hahah!

Haha he, arief, effem khanh and I are really making a band! And after lengthy, lengthy, lengthy deliberation, we have decided on a band name: Voltaire! Cool, eh. Like, the author of Candide (which we're doing for english
A1). Don't gibe, it really was the best we could come up with! We were considering things like mayflower omg hahaha! And like. Zorpox. Though there's probably a copyright on that somewhere from disney. And they refused to acknowledge Palestine! That would've been SUCH a cool name la. And anyway by the time half an hour had passed we were joking things like FIST YOURSELF and I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH. Hahahah.

I was right about hanh having best friend potential! She's almost as weird as I am (HAHA HAND THING), and 50% smarter. The only thing is, she thinks all the weird things we do are pointless and dumb! :( Though I'm sure a few months spent in close proximity to da eun and I will change that. Heehee! We're so infectious it's funny. And like we brought out the weirdness in each other when I canme to vietnam.

Yesterday (friday) da eun and I went out to buy stuff for the dalat trip! What dalat trip you ask? Why, the one I'm going to next weekend for sixth form bonding, of course! It'll be gross. We won't be bathing for 3 days and we have to sleep in TENTS o_O karen says like OBS (where she couldn't bathe for 4) which I've never experienced.
Speaking of whom I MISS KAREN! She's like perpetually busy now and has no time for me :( Nowadays I can't even be bothered to try IMing her anymore. Quite depressing. Stupid promos. I FEEL NEGLECTED.
Back to the subject at hand. We bought wetwipes and waterproof jackets! Well at least we PRESUME they're waterproof. We bought them from saigon square, coughcough. Haha and da eun was even nice enough to agree to pizzahut for dinner :) And we started talking about ourselves and each other's flaws. OMG I'M SO OBLIVIOUS HER MOTHER PROBABLY HATES ME :(

Hang finally left on friday! I gave her like. Two hugs when she came to school. I'M REALLY GOING TO MISS HER, I THINK. I enjoy hanging out with her one-on-one. She reminds me alot of hingying actually! I miss hingsies! I ALSO MISS MEIKE :( Like after assembly I was walking with seolye up the stairs and we spotted this new girl who looked like a thinner meike. Seolye was like, I miss meike! And I said, ME TOO. You saw that girl right? And we started chuckling haha. MEIKE WAS ONE OF THE FEW PEEPZ THAT UNDERSTOOD ALL MY JOKES. Like I think the only other person that in tune with my sense of humour is felicia chia! Whom I incidentally also miss. Haha omg I'm so emotional today! Though maybe cos it's 347am. And it's technically sunday. Hokay I really should be going. See y'all around!

Err charmaine! Youth leaders/elders/teachers/experienced peers can discuss with them about which class they should attend! If they think they don't need to move so be it, but if they agree... or if you think you aren't doing too well in a class you can go discuss with the aforementioned peepz and again find the right one for you.
Haha chenting my felix is quite similar. He sometimes randomly says 'penis' and draws them on people's things hahaha. Quite funny. Apparently back in BISjakarta he and his friends would see who could draw the fastest. And now it's like a bad habit.
And um andrea I SERIOUSLY SERIOUSLY MISS YOU AND YOUR HOUSE (totally you more :)! Like mac d's withdrawl symptoms kind of missing. And your cool old radio that brings me back to simpler times (when I was but a toddler)! And nail polish remover fumes haha. And I jump you pull.
