CHARLIE'S DEAD WON BISBOB (jueves, 4 de octubre de 2007),
CHARLIE'S DEAD WON THE BIS BATTLE OF THE BANDS! And the judge guy liked my vocals on Voltaire woohoo! I was all animated and active and cool and I'd never been so in all the rehearsals.
Charlie's Dead winning was quite a surprise though. We all thought Voltaire would win but the teachers instigated some moshing at the front of the stage when Charlie's Dead did our thing. Haha arief was like, ngah HOW BIASED!
Felix is planning on stealing lisa for drums and yingyue for guitarring for a new and improved Voltaire. Apparently yingyue's really good! :) Hahah lisa intimidates me a wee bit. Last year she was all hyper. SCARY hyper, not entertaining nice hyper like what I be representin'. Like last week we were joking how she could rape us! And we were even writing a song about it haha (titled lisa tried to rape me). She is a really really good drummer though! Better than that annoying little boy who keeps disturbing me.
MISTER SISTER FISTER GAHAHA
In other news I've met the singaporean ambassador's daughter. Grace ann chua or something. She's been in 'nam since p5 and she and jacqueline leow were primary schoolmates! She seems very out of the singapore scene though. She didn't know what knnccb stood for, for shameeee. And she has a funky accent haha
My idea for the option to wear costumes for halloween at school instead of only at the disco was put up for discussion on tuesday by charlotte! Yay. Though I am a little miffed I wasn't fast enough to mention it first. Felix, arief and I are going to be emoshitz for halloween hahah. I wish I had a whip for real. I could seriously go as a dominatrix ahah.
Haha I just realised something hella funny. When I'm in vietnam I pretty much speak with an international/american accent, laced with singaporean phrases and expressions (with real-live authentic singaporean tones!) when I am comfortable. And whenever I go back to singapore I pick up the yangs' rather strange not-quite-british accent! With slightly more singlish than normal thrown in for good measure.
The really sad thing is, I've noticed people generally treat you better when you are coupled with a cool accent.
I'm sleepy but there's TOK to read and math halfterm test to mug for and if I fail I'm going to be sent down to the special needs math studies class :( I don't want to be sent into a class learning sets and factorisation!!
Why am I still here? Hokay I shall go study now see y'all around.
