AMO MI CLASE DE ESPAÑOL :))))) We always do such fun things.
From the end of last term to now we've been making piñatas with papier mache and pva glue and newspaper and painting them and eerythinggggg. My group's one is SO PRETTY haha. His name is Barnabé Juan Diego, and he's a psychedelic dinosaur of the long-necked variety :) In a stroke of designing brilliance, we left a hole in his side so we could put our mementos in with little effort, then pva-ed over the hole with a circle of shiny paper so that at the end of yr13, when we break open our piñatas, we can just punch through that piece of paper instead of whacking apart our beloved Barnabé :) My memento was a little paper doll of me haha 'cause I didn't really feel like sacrificing any of my more substantial items. Hanh brought this really cool fish pouch with an attached fish inside hahaha.
The other day Sra Rena brought pan dulce (sweet bread) from españa to the lesson so we could try some. It was pretty good! Nothing compared to that DELICIOSO stuff she brought last term whose name I can't recall though. It was some sorta christmas snack? She had brought us some of that 'cause previously when we were all researching how our chosen hispanic countries celebrated navidad ruth and someone (I think katrina) brought their HOMEMADE version of the stuff. And it was pretty good for a first attempt :)
And even our actual lessons are funfilled affairs. We pretty much cut and pegar or color or copy out stuff. It's... it is a wistful reminder of my carefree mostly stressless nursery/kindergarten years at the experiential learning centre.
And Sra Rena is such a good teacher lah. She's fun and witty (but not to the point of distraction form the lesson) and really niceeeee.
In fact, dare say español is my favourite subject right now :)

I love hanh! She has relaxed around us, so I can see I was right when I said deep down inside she IS as weird as twin and I. We always approach our Task At Hand in innovative new directions hahahahh. We were going to take a video once, but by the time we got around to it much of the initial magic had gone :( She's also super super nice (to the point where max always takes advantage of her homework) and funny and she has a nice expressive face and her hair's really really soft hahah. I sincerely hope when we all graduate I DO NOT lose contact with her. Everyone else I don't mind, but not HANH! Or da eun or katrina or arief or khanhche or charlotte. Or christian!!! Definitely not christian <3

Ohohohohoh charlie's dead and voltaire are participating in auscham again this year :) 26th jan baby! Voltaire's doing mr brightside by the killers and pressure by paramore, with sugar we're going down or combat baby as a winning song.
