today was melissa lim's birthday :) I surprised her at marche as hing's and my birthday present to her since she didn't even know I was in singapore haha. I ate rosti. It gave me poop trouble! I shall never eat rosti again!!!!!!
Then felicia, melissa and I went shopping around vivo. I bought a racerback and a pretty blue cny dress yayyyy!! I shall wear it to the kl cny dinner I guess, since I need to be dressed to impress (with my relatively large chest).
Haha and I think it's HILARIOUS I'm supposed to be the most well-endowed one in the family since in 'nam my junk is considered mere pittance!
At around six I took the mert to ahyi rita's house for reunion dinner.

Haha yesterday I snuck into rjc! Michelle showed me around. I saw her homeroom and her (locked) locker and her bag! Though I couldn't get into the library 'cause you need to be in official uniform, and I (obviously) wasn't. Though I WAS going to!!! I was all, michelley lend me your blouse and your skirt and karen lend me your school shoes and a pair of socks. But nooooo chia lynn, you don't need to wear anything to sneak in! They'll just think you're j3. Mehh. Haha and at one point I was so desperate to get in I was willing to serruptitously steal karen's uniform while she was off training. Though I guess being given michy's special badge for luck made it worthwhile. The combined rj-ri compound is HUGEEEE. Huge and pretty! Nice to explore. I think I shall make it a point to sneak back one day :) If only to finally check out the library haha. Oh karen passed me her coolio drawing pen that can only be found at her aunt's provision shop before she had to go for touch/tag/whatever rugby training. Adrian came too. Then we all languished at the windy bench (since I was feeling even more indolent than usual) before going to the mos burger at j8 for dinner! Karen met us for a couple minutes so she could give me a special waist goodbye hug before she had to go.

On monday I met up with katrina in town. We ate lunch at toast box in wisma. THEY SUCK ASS NOW I SWEAR. I can almost see it sliding into mediocrity along with yakun.
Then we walked all the way to forum galleria to check out toys 'r' us yayyyy! I bought a fireman hat and a rubik's cube.
Then we walked to that tourism office place to see if we could get some tourist freebies (they offered free chilli crab coupons last year). Then she ate lunch at some seedy emerald hotel foodcourt that most certainly was NOT the one that the tourism ladies told us about.
Then we took a bus to where she was staying, at fraser near UEsquare. SHE USED TO LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO THE DBS ART CENTRE WHERE WE PERFORMED CHURCH PLAYS!!!! zomg. And we took a 2 hour nap in her bed hahahaha 'cause we were feeling rather somnolent. When I pulled out my korean shorts she was like, YOU WERE PLANNING TO COME NAP HERE, WEREN'T YOU! Hahah.
It's quite funny but I always end up sleeping at her house ><
Afterwards she showed me around fraser and told me of her great life in singapore. Rent for her apartment used to be 10grand a month. Why do I have such rich friends?!?!!? Gosh so annoying, and faintly depressing. The amusing thing is, katrina' favourite shop is THIS FASHION, since it's 'so cheap' HAHA!
So then she told me amidst tearful sobs of how she witnessed her first dog's violent death, and later on about her psycho parents (she doesn't think they are though). And of how in her family you need to earn respect by Doing Something Important. One of her older sisters is doing some double major thing at yale; her dad runs an oil rig near 'nam; her mum did something else in her time. So then I was at first thinking, dayum it'd be cool if I were brought up in such an environment! I'd be all driven and stuff. But then I thought, aiya can't be bothered lah I like being able to slack. Life isn't all about physical achievements after all ><

I'll be coming back from malaysia on sunday so I can't go for 11am service :(

I spent time with michelle, adrian and johnston on sunday :) And I got to see vanessa mak at church YAY! karen stood me up for dinner coughBYOTCH hahah.

Saturday morning was my flight from 'nam :) We landed in the relatively new terminal 3 so I got to see it yayyy. Though it didn't seem in any way special to me (probably 'cause I didn't go through all the shops and all).
It all went downhill from there.
I bought some fries and a coke from the macd's in T2 before getting on the mrt and this man just sat next to me and said, you know you're not supposed to be eating on the trains... I was like WTP but okay he might be some transitlink guy better stop. And at the expo stop, my drink fell off my suitcase and splashed across the floor. I adamantly maintain if I had been eating/drinking, I would've been holding it and it would hence not have fell!!!! (okay okay excuse ><)
Um I can't remember what else made it a bad day.
Though at night my brother and I ordered in pizzahut and went to jp to watch cloverfield :) I really enjoyed the movie! Like it wasn't the plot that was fantastic; that was quite godzilla-movie-ish. It was, rather, how they played it out. The whole blair witch project handheld cam point of view thing was quite useful in dragging me into the story. And I love lizzy caplan hahaha yayyy! GASP she should totally play shego if there's ever a live-action kim possible movie!
